Same People Who Called Jonathan ‘Pig’ in 2015 Are Now Preaching Morality — TV Journalist Rufai Oseni Knocks Tinubu’s Supporters for Hypocrisy

Oseni

Renowned broadcast journalist Rufai Oseni has publicly criticized supporters of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accusing them of hypocrisy regarding their stance on governance and morality.

In a post on his official X handle, Oseni pointed out that the same individuals who heavily criticized former President Goodluck Jonathan and disrupted the country with protests are now silent on issues within the current administration.

Oseni argued that these individuals, who called Jonathan derogatory names in 2015, are now attempting to project a facade of morality. He emphasized that the current administration has not matched Jonathan’s economic achievements.

He stated, “The same people that shut down the country for 2 weeks at the start of the year occupying Nigeria are blaming NLC after one day.

“While Jonathan’s mother was alive they carried the mock coffin of her son just because they wanted power 8 years after what have they done with that power.

“Someone that called the president names now can’t comment after 1 year in administration of this government.

It’s noteworthy that despite promises, Nobel laureate and Tinubu supporter Wole Soyinka has yet to comment on the administration’s performance after one year.

“The same people that called Jonathan a pig in 2015 are now forming morality. Today they can’t even match Jonathan’s economic records,” he added.

This criticism comes in the context of recent developments where the Nigeria Labour Congress called off its strike to negotiate with the Federal Government on the minimum wage.
