US President Donald Trump claims that God spared him from an assassin’s bullet so that he could “make America great again.”
He made this statement on Monday, the day he was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
“Just a few months ago, in a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear.
“But I felt then and believe, even more so now that my life was saved for a reason.
“I was saved by God to make America great again,” he said during his inaugural address.

Trump was shot on July 13 in the Pennsylvanian town of Butler.
Thomas Matthew Crooks managed to use an assault weapon to scale a height and fire several rounds at Trump during the event, one of which grazed the former US president’s right ear.
