Senator Elisha Abbo Representing Adamawa North Senatorial District has apologized to Senate President Godswill Akpabio for a recent incident that saw him accuse Akpabio of being involved in his being sacked from office as a member of the Senate representing Adamawa North Senatorial District.
He made the apology in an interview on Arise TV, where he claimed that he had a discussion with the senate president who “swore on his mother’s grave,” disputing the fact that he was involved in Abbo being relieved of his duty as a senator.
Abbo had initially claimed that Akpabio and his supporters were orchestrating a purported plot to unseat him from the Senate.
He claimed that the Senate’s standing committee distribution was unfair and accused Akpabio of being a one-man operation.
The Senate President, however, disregarded these accusations, calling them mere fabrications while stressing that the Senate is stable, amicable, and striving for a better and bigger Nigeria under his direction.
