Seven Dead in Nightclub Fire in Spain

Seven people have been confirmed dead in a nightclub fire in Spain, with more people still missing.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a fire broke out in Murcia, a city in southeast Spain, and quickly spread to three different locations: Golden, Teatre, and Fonda. There are reports of four casualties from smoke inhalation, two of whom were transported to the hospital, and it’s possible there are more.

The flames have been put out, and firefighters were seen battling the fire inside the nightclub in a video that was uploaded to the fire department of Murcia’s X account. The video demonstrated how the fire had partially ruined the roof.

The medical team is on the ground with medical vehicles, along with the members of the Homicide Group of Murcia Police Headquarters.

For the benefit of the victims’ relatives, the city council has opened the Murcia Sports Palace. Support is being given by a group of psychologists, social workers, and civil protection officers.
