Former Nigerian lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has called for repentance following recent earthquakes in the United States and Taiwan.
Sani expressed his concerns via a post on his official X handle, emphasizing the imminent arrival of the Kingdom of God.
Referring to earthquakes in diverse locations, including last year’s incident in Morocco, Sani highlighted the need for global reflection and repentance.
Shehu Sani also drew attention to the recent earthquake in Taiwan and the reported earth tremors in New Jersey and parts of New York.
He articulated, “Last year it was Earthquake in an unlikely place like Morocco that killed thousands. This year it happened in Taiwan and now the report of Earth tremors in New Jersey and parts of New York.
“The World should repent. The Kingdom of God is at hand,” he added.
Recall reports that an earthquake has rattled the Northeastern United States on Friday morning.
According to the US Geological Survey, the 4.8 magnitude quake was centered near Lebanon, N.J., west of New York City, at a depth of 1 kilometer.
Despite the earthquake’s occurrence, no immediate reports of damage were provided by the city’s Fire Department.
