A member of the Obidients Movement, Dr. Moses Paul, has called out the All Progressives Congress (APC), warning them to be prepared should anything happen to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi.
This is as the APC Spokesperson, Felix Morka accused Obi of ‘crossing the line’ after Obi stated that the Nigeria is increasingly transforming into an authoritarian and repressive regime, where freedom of expression is being systematically suppressed.
Moses Paul in a post shared on his official X handle revealed that the leadership of the APC has shown Nigerians their true colors without shame.
He stated that APC has shattered the pillars of democracy. He maintained that just like other countries fought corruption and decadence in their midst, so will the Obidients Movement do too.
His post reads partly,”It is, however, a heartbreaking testament to how far we have fallen as a nation that the APC has completely shattered the pillars of democracy and the rule of law.
“This truth has been laid bare by Mr. Felix Morka and the leadership of the APC, who have shown us, without shame, their true colors.
“Let it be on record, without ambiguity: should anything happen to Mr.@PeterObi, we know exactly who to hold accountable.
“Let it also be unequivocally clear: we will stop at nothing to protect Nigeria and uphold the legacies of our heroes past.
“We will not sit idly by and watch the APC’s evil machinations destroy the country we love. We will stand resolutely for justice, defend it with unwavering determination, and reverse every retrogressive action that has plagued this nation.
“We draw inspiration from history—just as other nations have fought tirelessly to rid themselves of corruption, harmful policies, and oppressive systems, so too will we. We firmly believe in the rebirth of a new Nigeria, one founded on justice, equity, and unity.
“This new Nigeria will transcend the divisions of party affiliations, religious bigotry, and tribalism, the very tools the APC has weaponized to sow discord among us. These divisive practices will be relegated to history, where they belong, never to return.
“This is our mission, our commitment, and our unyielding promise to the people of Nigeria. Together, we will bring a new Nigeria to life,” he added.
