Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Lalong, is poised to step down from his current position.
This decision comes in the wake of receiving his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The Court of Appeal recently ruled in favor of Lalong, overturning the election of Peoples Democratic Party’s Bali Napoleon and affirming Lalong as the Senator for Plateau South Senatorial Zone.

As a result of this legal victory, the Minister is now preparing to resign from his ministerial role.
