Simon Bako Lalong, former Minister of Labour and Employment, on Wednesday, took oath as Senator representing Plateau South senatorial district.
In the wake of an appellate court decision affirming his senatorial status, Simon has been officially sworn in as the Senator representing the southern Senatorial district of the State.

The swearing-in ceremony took place following the court’s ruling, validating he’s position as a senator.
As reported earlier, Lalong, accompanied by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, arrived at the Senate on Wednesday morning to assume his new role.
