Soludo is “Champion in Telling Cheap Lies” — Paul Chukwuma Tackles Anambra Governor

The Young Progressives Party (YPP) governorship candidate in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has described Governor Chukwuma Soludo as a “merchant of rhetoric and a champion in telling cheap lies.”

Chukwuma, who stated this while speaking in a television programme, described the state as “totally broken,” citing worsening insecurity, economic stagnation, and a decline in the education sector despite being governed by a “professor of economics.”

He alleged that the state has failed to attract a single direct foreign investment in more than three years.

“In terms of security, Anambra is still unsafe. In terms of the economy, Anambra, in over three years, has failed to attract a single direct foreign investment. At this point, we are not even talking about local investors because there is nothing on the ground to encourage investment in the state,” Chukwuma said.

The YPP flag bearer also criticised the government’s handling of education, claiming that the state lacks basic facilities such as teachers’ quarters in rural communities and has witnessed a sharp decline in research and educational quality.

“No teachers’ living quarters exist in any community in Anambra State today. No serious research is ongoing to proffer workable solutions. Yet, this is a government led by a scholar,” he said.

He asserted that Anambra deserves better leadership, promising that the YPP would replace “talk without results” with practical, result-driven governance

.“Anambra deserves better,” he maintained.
