A pastor’s wife has stirred controversy with a passionate speech condemning members of her congregation for refusing to contribute towards her birthday celebration.
She labeled those who did not give as “wicked” and wished divine punishment on them, adding that their refusal stemmed from selfishness and a lack of regard for others.
In a video circulating on social media, she lamented that while some members frequently sought her assistance and prayers, they showed little willingness to support events celebrating church leaders.
“Some of you gave nothing and you eat like a pig,” she remarked, expressing frustration at those who consumed the food provided without contributing financially.

The Pastor wife further distinguished between those who genuinely lacked resources and those who deliberately withheld support.
She accused the latter of being guided by worldly wisdom rather than God’s teachings, emphasizing the importance of mutual care and generosity among kingdom citizens.
Despite her sharp rebuke, she stated that she personally funded 90% of the celebration costs through her hospital, emphasizing that she does not rely on anyone’s money.
She urged the church not to solicit funds for her in the future unless it is done with a genuine heart, warning that insincere contributions would be returned.
