Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has called for justice following the brutal murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
Christianah was allegedly killed by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye, who is suspected of being a serial killer.
In a statement posted on her official X page, Ayra Starr condemned the violent act and highlighted the urgent need to address violence against women.
She wrote, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah.”
The investigation into Christianah’s death revealed that Adeleye, who was close to the victim, kidnapped, murdered, and buried her on his property.
It has also emerged that Adeleye was previously linked to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and sister in separate incidents in 2018 and 2020.
