Eid-el-Fitr: Amidst Hardship Sultan Urges Nigerians to Pray, Support Leaders

His Eminence Sa’ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto, has called upon all Nigerians to offer prayers for the nation’s leaders, expressing his belief that such support and prayers will facilitate the country’s progress.

Delivering his Sallah message in Sokoto on Wednesday before a congregation of Muslim faithful, he underscored the significance of unity among citizens, particularly in light of the numerous challenges confronting the nation.

The Sultan expressed gratitude to the federal and state governments for their assistance to citizens during Ramadan, acknowledging the economic difficulties many faced during this period.

He urged Muslim faithful to uphold the virtues they imbibed during Ramadan and emphasized the importance of both religious and secular education.
