Hon. Justice Emmanuel Olayinka Ayoola (JSC, rtd), a retired Justice of the Supreme Court, has passed away.
The Ayoola family confirmed his death in a statement released earlier today, expressing deep gratitude to God for his life of outstanding service and achievement.
Justice Ayoola was widely respected for his brilliant legal mind, unwavering integrity, and dedication to justice.

In their statement, the Ayoola family said: “With heartfelt gratitude to the Lord Almighty for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, granddad, great-granddad, brother, uncle, benefactor, and friend, Hon. Justice Emmanuel Olayinka Ayoola (JSC, rtd; CON).”
