“Supreme Court Opened New Window For My Release,” Nnamdi Kanu Reveals

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has expressed his believe that despite the disappointing ruling of Supreme Court to allow his trial to proceed, their judgement has also opened a “new legal window” for his release.

He made this revealation during a routine meeting with his legal team at the Abuja facility of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Kanu’s special counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, shared Kanu’s sentiments on social media, stating, “Onyendu expressed his disappointment with the judgment, but he believes aspects of it have opened a new legal window to pursue his release. He asked all and sundry to remain confident.”
