Tinubu Has Not Done Anything to Revamp Nigeria’s Educational System—Effiong Knocks Reps on Bola Tinubu University

Human rights lawyer Inibehe Effiong has criticized the House of Representatives for proposing a bill to establish the Bola Tinubu University.

Effiong condemned the proposal as an act of sycophancy, calling it a major issue in the country.

The bill is sponsored by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu and eight co-sponsors.

However, in a post on his X handle on Saturday, Effiong argued that Tinubu has not made sufficient efforts to improve Nigeria’s educational system.

He said: “Some members of the House of Representatives have introduced a Bill to establish a “Bola Tinubu University”.

“The same Bola Tinubu whose educational background is shrouded in controversy.

“Sycophancy is a problem in this country.”
