The terrorists who abducted 20 medical students on their way to a convention in Enugu State two days ago are demanding a ransom of N50 million.

This was revealed by one of the kidnapped students, Kingsley Aondona, in a post on his X page around 6:26 p.m. on Friday.

It is unclear whether the message was sent from captivity or if Aondona still has access to his phone.

Aondona further stated that the terrorists have threatened to start killing the hostages if the ransom is not paid by the following day.
