On Sunday night, a fresh assault by terrorists targeted the Kajuru-Station community in Kaduna State’s Kajuru Local Government Area, resulting in the abduction of 87 individuals.
Harisu Dari, a member of the Kajuru-Station Youths, verified the incident on Monday in Kaduna, stating that the assailants also ransacked shops, looting food supplies and other valuable items.
The invasion occurred around 10 pm, marking another distressing event following the recent abduction of 15 women and a man in the Dogon-Noma community within the same local government area, just two days prior.
These occurrences have intensified concerns as Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas have witnessed a surge in kidnapping activities over the past fortnight, exacerbating tensions across the state.

“As of the time I visited the community this morning, security operatives have not been drafted to help restore the confidence of the villagers.
“The villagers are traumatic with the sad development. The government needs to re-strategize in tackling these terrorists,” he said.
According to PUNCH Online, within a span of two weeks, terrorists have abducted more than 172 villagers.
Despite attempts to reach out, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, did not respond to calls or a text message from our correspondent at the time this report was filed.
