At least ten people have been abducted following coordinated attacks by terrorists on Tungar Wazga and Unguwar Chiroma communities in the Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
Local sources said the number of those initially taken was about fifteen, though some victims were later rescued after a fierce gun duel between security operatives and the attackers.

A resident of the area, who confirmed the incident, said the assailants stormed the communities on motorcycles, shooting sporadically before whisking away several villagers.
Security teams reportedly pursued the terrorists to Marina, a border village near Zamfara State, where six captives were freed after the attackers fled into the forest with gunshot injuries.
The rescued victims, aged between 11 and 25, have since undergone medical checks and reunited with their families
The attackers are believed to have crossed into Kebbi from neighboring Zamfara, continuing a pattern of cross-border raids that have left several communities in the North-West living in fear.
