An undisclosed number of passengers attached to Big Joe Motors, also known as Big Joe Motors Transport, were kidnapped in the late hours of Tuesday.
Big Joe Motors is a popular road transport company in Nigeria, registered under the name Big Joe Ventures Limited.
The company’s current headquarters is located in Aduwawa, Benin City, Ikpoba Okha, Edo State.
According to a report obtained by Parallel Fact, a full passenger load from Benin to Abuja was kidnapped.
However, the report stated that people speaking in Hausa contacted the families of the passengers and demanded a ransom of 50 million Naira per person.
