Terrorists Kidnap Unknown Driver in Enugu

A yet-to-be-identified driver of a silver Highlander Jeep was reportedly abducted by suspected Fulani terrorists near Smart School in Egede, Enugu State, on April 15, 2025.

The incident, first shared by X user @ChuksEricE, occurred along the increasingly notorious Eke-Egede route, a stretch now feared by many residents due to recurring attacks and abductions.

A video attached to the post showed the abandoned vehicle parked on the roadside, with no trace of the driver or the assailants.

The abduction has ignited outrage and concern in the community, with users expressing anger over rising insecurity in the South East.

Commenters has condemned the unchecked activities of Fulani terrorists in the region, urging Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State to take immediate action to curb the threat and protect commuters.
