Alhaji Surajo Ahmed, the Katsina State Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), was killed by suspected terrorists dubbed bandits who attacked his home in Mai Rana community, Kusada Local Government Area of Katsina State.
According to the MACBAN National President, Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzarma, the attackers, who struck at 10 p.m. on Sunday, also abducted his two wives and daughter.
He added that the association has contacted the police and other security agencies to investigate the matter and ensure the release of the kidnap victims.
“The incident happened yesterday around 10 pm in the night. We have contacted police and other security bodies for intervention,” he said.
Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Katsina State Command, did not answer his calls or reply to a text message sent to him.
