A deadly bandit attack has left one person dead, 10 others abducted, and several cattle rustled in Bungudu Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
The assault occurred in the early hours of Monday, leaving residents in fear and panic.
In a report by Zagazola Makama, the attack took place at about 12:40 a.m. when a large number of armed men, shooting sporadically, stormed Gidan Yawa and Lamuntani villages via Gulubba District.
During the raid, a 32-year-old man, Abdullahi Sani, was shot dead. The assailants also abducted 10 residents and rustled eight cows before fleeing to an unknown location.

Authorities have launched efforts to track the fleeing suspects and secure the release of the abducted victims.
Security personnel are reportedly combing surrounding areas in a bid to recover the stolen cattle and apprehend the attackers.
The attack has heightened fear among the local population, with many residents reportedly staying indoors and limiting movement.
Community leaders have called for increased security patrols to prevent further incidents.
Residents in the affected areas have been urged to remain vigilant and report any information that could assist in locating the bandits.
