A politician known as Alhaji Lado was killed by terrorists in Mairuwa village, situated in the Faskari local government area of Katsina State,
The incident occurred during Ramadan prayers on Saturday night in the village mosque.
Specific details about the attack remain unclear at this time.
However, reports indicate that Alhaji Lado was murdered after refusing to comply with the bandits’ demands.
Also, the attackers abducted his wife and two daughters.
According to a survivor of the mosque assault, identified by Daily Trust, one of the victims was a health worker named Sani, employed at the Mairuwa Health Facility.

Katsina State has been severely affected by banditry, with numerous efforts made to curb criminal activities proving ineffective. Despite this, the Katsina State Police command has yet to issue a statement regarding this tragic incident.
