Dr. Tiri Gyan David, the Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics, Extension, and Rural Development at the Federal University Dutsinma (FUDMA), has tragically lost his life in a terrorist attack that took place in Katsina State.
The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday at his residence in Yarima Quarters, Low-Cost Estate, Dutsinma Local Government Area of the state.
According to an eyewitness who spoke to Channels TV, the attackers, armed with sophisticated weaponry, invaded the community around 1:30am.
They fired shots indiscriminately, terrifying residents. During the raid, the terrorists abducted two of Dr. David’s children.

The spokesperson for the Katsina Police Command, Abubakar Sadiq confirmed the attack, expressing that a comprehensive statement would be issued shortly.
