Suspected terrorists have reportedly killed four personnel of the Nigerian Army in the Gudu Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
Sources in Balle, the headquarters of Gudu Local Government Area, reported that assailants ambushed Nigerian Army personnel, opening fire on their moving vehicle.
Four soldiers were killed instantly, while seven others were injured and are being treated in an undisclosed hospital.
The attackers also set two of the military’s operational vehicles on fire.

Attempts to confirm the details with security agencies have been unsuccessful, as both the Nigeria Police Force and Army authorities in Sokoto have yet to comment on the attack.
