Terrorists Strike Again in Katsina Community, Kidnap 16 Residents

Terrorists have targeted Kogo village in Faskari Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State, abducting 16 residents, including children, women, and men.

According to a local resident who spoke to newsmen on condition of anonymity, the attack occurred quietly around 8:20 PM yesterday, catching the villagers off guard as the terrorists carried out their operation with careful planning.

“The criminals infiltrated the community silently, possibly leaving their motorcycles parked at a distance to avoid detection. Without causing much commotion, they targeted a specific residence and abducted 16 people, including children, women, and men,” the local source disclosed.

The community is now engulfed in fear and uncertainty, eagerly awaiting updates on the ongoing situation.

Residents are deeply worried about the safety of the kidnapped individuals and the overall security of the area, the source emphasized.

ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, the spokesperson for the Katsina Police Command, was contacted for comment. He stated that he would verify the report and provide a response. However, as of the time of filing this report, no updates or confirmations have been communicated.
