Third Mainland Bridge to be Closed to Traffic 7 a.m. on Monday-FG

The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Works, has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos will be closed to traffic starting at 7 a.m. on Monday.

The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Olukorede Keisha, made this known in a statement on Friday.

Keisha stated that the federal government is set to undertake extensive repairs on the bridge. She said, “The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Works, wishes to inform the motoring public that the government has perfected plans to carry out comprehensive repairs of Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.”

She continued, saying that all four ramps connecting Adekunle to the Third Mainland Bridge will be closed simultaneously.

“Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and cooperate with the traffic management officials deployed to manage traffic and ensure hitch-free movement,” she added.
