Three Suspects Remanded for Killing Senator’s Aide in Lagos

A Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba has ordered the remand of three men Suspects who were accused of killing Adeniyi Sanni, an aide to Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre for 30 days.

The accused are Fred Azeez Okuno, 43, a resident of Lagos; Lucky Idudu Michael, 33, from Delta State; and Adedigba Segun, 26, from Ibadan, Oyo State.

They allegedly robbed and murdered Sanni on August 5, 2023, at a checkpoint in Ojodu Beger around midnight.

The Lagos State Police Command arrested the suspects after a thorough investigation and paraded them on September 18, 2023.

The court adjourned the case till October 29, 2023, for further hearing.
