Renowned broadcaster and journalist Oseni Rufai has criticized the Tinubu-led government for failing to address the threat Governor Okpebholo made against Peter Obi.
Recall that on Thursday, the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, threatened Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, that his security would not be guaranteed if he visits Edo State again without notifying the state government in advance.
Okpebolo’s action comes following Obi’s recent visit to the state where he donated ₦15 million to a nursing school as part of his ongoing support for education and healthcare across Nigeria.
According to viral video clips circulating online, Okpebholo expressed anger that the Labour Party chieftain entered the state without notifying him.

However, since the incident, no one in the ruling government has cautioned the governor for this rascal statement.
Reacting to the development, Rufai took to his official X handle and wrote l,”To date, no one in the ruling government has come out to condemn the governor for threatening Obi. This is loud!.”
