Tinubu Appoints New FERMA Leadership

Bola Tinubu, has constituted the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency’s (FERMA) Governing Board and Management, for a four-year term that is renewable. This is in compliance with FERMA Amendment Act of 2007 Section 2(3).

Engineer Imam Ibrahim Kashim Imam has been named as the FERMA Board’s new chairman. Engr. Chukwuemeka Agbasi has been named the new managing director of FERMA. Agbasi previously held the position of Director of Public-Private Partnership, Multilateral, and Special Duties at FERMA.

Other appointees include: Yusuf Lawal Othman (NARTO), Engr. Ibi Terna Manasseh (FMW), ACM Shehu Mohammed (FRSC), Babatunde Daramola-Oniru (Finance), Hon. Preye Oseke (South-South), Hon. Oye Ojobe (South-West), Dr. Kenneth Ugbala (South-East), Sen. Timothy Adudu (North-Central), Engr.

Tinubu urged the new hires to maintain the agency’s commitment to effective and efficient service delivery. He emphasised that the organisation is positioned to play a crucial role in ensuring the long-term viability of the nation’s infrastructure, which supports economic growth.
