On Wednesday, Bola Tinubu expressed deep concern over the tragic circumstances surrounding the death of Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa in Sabon Birni Local Government Area, Sokoto State.
In a statement issued by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu condemned the attack on Bawa as a heinous and deeply disturbing act, vowing that it would not go unanswered.
Thinubu extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the Sokoto State Government.
He offered prayers for the repose of the traditional ruler’s soul and wished comfort for his family during this difficult time.
Mr. Tinubu also reassured Nigerians that his administration is committed to eliminating threats to national security and will decisively counter acts of terror.
