In the wake of the brutal murder of Elesun of Esun Ekiti and Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti, the Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has called on Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take decisive action in addressing the escalating security crisis in the nation, revealing that Tinubu and insecurity are the cause of death of the monarchs.

Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic incident, Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, took to his official X handle on Monday to deliver a stern message to Tinubu.
In his post, Obi emphasised the urgent need for Tinubu to “wake up from his sleeping bed” and confront the prevailing security challenges that have plagued the country.

Obi stated, “We are saddened by the report that Elesun of Esun Ekiti and Onimojo of Imojo Ekiti were murdered earlier today, cause of death: Insecurity and Tinubu.
“We call on Tinubu to wake up from his sleeping bed and save Nigeria from total collapse. Don’t speak up today. Tomorrow, insecurity might consume you or a loved one,” he added.
