Human rights activist and lawyer Dele Farotimi has suggested that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu might be more loved in the Southeast region of Nigeria.
Farotimi’s conclusion is based on the geographical spread of the ongoing nationwide protests, which commenced on August 1, 2024.
In a post on his official X handle, Farotimi stated, “On the evidence of the geographical spread of the ongoing protests, it is safe to conclude that Tinubu is much more loved in the land of the rising sun, than in any other part of Nigeria.”
His statement comes in the wake of the absence of protests reported in the five states of the Southeast geopolitical zone.
Meanwhile, other parts of Nigeria have seen citizens protesting against widespread hunger and inflation in the country.
