He also urged citizens to be patient, assuring that the ongoing reforms would bring economic prosperity and stability to Nigeria.

The call was made in a statement released on Sunday by the Minister’s Special Assistant on Communication and Publicity, Kamarudeen Ogundele. Fagbemi spoke during a prayer organized in his honor by his family in his Ijagbo country home in Oyun Local Government of Kwara State.

The minister assured Nigerians of the president’s determination to take the country out of the woods. “The president is not looking for self-aggrandisement. He’s seeking a better future for the country,” the statement read.

Fagbemi further revealed that since his swearing-in, Tinubu has been actively seeking investors’ buy-in, which has resulted in positive responses from foreign investors. He urged Nigerians to exercise patience, likening the process to the growth of a tree that requires time to bear fruit.

“Nigerians need to be patient; things will improve greatly in the coming days. The sacrifices of today will translate to a greater future for the country. I know with prayers and support of Nigerians, the country will emerge stronger,” he said.
