Tinubu is Not a Pauper, He Has Seen Money and Is Not Interested in Looting Nigeria’s Treasury — Minister to Nigerians

The Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has stated that Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu has no interest in looting Nigeria’s treasury, citing his significant wealth.

Speaking at the Joint Union Negotiating Council’s week at the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in Abuja, Olawande urged Nigerians to be patient with the administration, assuring that positive changes are forthcoming.

The minister described Tinubu as an “acknowledged epitome of wealth” and argued that the Tinubu’s financial standing eliminates any incentive to engage in corrupt practices.

He stated, “I urge you to be patient with this administration. In no distant time, the country will take good shape and the lives of the citizens will be transformed.

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not a pauper; he is an acknowledged epitome of wealth and so it cannot be said of him that he desires to loot the treasury of Nigeria.”

“He has seen money and as a result of this, he is not interested in looting the nation’s treasury,” Olawande added.

He highlighted ongoing government efforts to transform the lives of Nigerians through various policies and thanked ministry staff for supporting these initiatives, assuring them that their welfare remains a priority.
