Social commentator Shehu Gazali Sadiq has alleged that the missing ₦210 trillion from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) is being diverted to fund President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign.
Sadiq made this statement in a strongly worded post on his official X handle.
His post reads,”NNPC stole N210trillion. Who’s the minister of petroleum?Tinubu’s re-election campaign fund in the bag.”

In his post he recalled that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) stole the sum of N210 trillion and called attention to who the minister of petroleum was.
Recall also that the President serves as the Minister of Petroleum Resources.

Tinubu appointed two Ministers of State to assist him: Senator Heineken Lokpobiri is the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), and Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo is the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas).
Meanwhile, the Tinubu-led government have been marked with series of embezzlement, looting and corruption which further confirms the statement of Sadiq.
Data from Tracka, BudgIT’s service delivery promotion platform, uncovered US payments worth N2.4 billion to seventeen contractors for fifteen projects across nine states, with no contractor having commenced work on these sites.
The Financial Times (FT) has raised substantial concerns about Mr. Bola Tinubu’s mysterious wealth, accusing his administration of embezzling billions through oil theft.
