Tinubu Should Resign; His Presence in Office Violates Sovereign Will of Nigerians — Dele Farotimi

Lawyer and political analyst, Dele Farotimi has called for the resignation of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that his presence in office violates the sovereign will of Nigerians.

He made this call in a recent interview with News Central TV, tagged, “NC Truthzs with Dele Farotimi,” emphasising on the necessity of a legal govenment to boost the economy.

During the interview, Farotimi was asked, what specific step should Chief Bola Tinubu take to ensure transparency and accountability in his administration? He responded emphatically, “He (Tinubu) should resign.”

Farotimi further elaborated, stating, “Tinubu’s very presence in office is a violation of the sovereign will of the people.

“If he is interested in changing anything, he should resign and establish a credible system capable of overseeing free and fair elections. We will never forget him in history,” he added.
