Renowned journalist and broadcaster, Oseni Rufai has tackled Bola Tinubu over his speech on EndBadGovernance protest.
Rufai stated Nigerians want Bola Tinubu to be interviewed instead of the speech he uttered to Nigerians on Sunday.
He made this statement in a post shared on his X handle on Sunday. Rufai criticized Bola Tinubu for shying away from interview since he emerged the leader of Nigeria.
In his words, “I advocated for the president to address Nigerians, but the speech was below par, so he must engage more in interviews, where he will expansively discuss policies.
“President Tinubu should stop giving us speeches we want an hour long interview now!

“If he’s speeches are leaked then we want an interview where he can speak from his hear to the people. The speech is good but we want more, he hasn’t granted any interviews since he became president.
“President Tinubu speech wasn’t different from the one he made last year, July, same promises not too much execution. The president should give us interviews. We want to test his understanding of things, same rehearsed speeches don’t cut it.
“The idea that Nigerian leaders rarely grant interviews is wrong,” he added.
