Fresh from his recent trip to France, Bola Tinubu is preparing for another international trip, this time to China.
Scheduled for the first week of September, the state visit will coincide with the 2024 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
During this event, Tinubu will engage in high-level discussions and work on strengthening the bilateral ties between Nigeria and China.
Tinubu returned to Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, from Paris on Friday, August 23, 2024, following a brief working stay in France.
He arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at around 2:25 am. Just hours after his arrival, Tinubu administered the oath of office to Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, officially appointing her as the 23rd Chief Justice of Nigeria, pending Senate confirmation.
The ceremony was held at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja on Friday, at approximately 11:40 am, where Kekere-Ekun signed the oath register, marking the start of her tenure.
Last Monday, Tinubu travelled to France for what his team described as a ‘brief work stay’.
