Tinubu Travels to Equatorial Guinea to Visit Dictator, World’s Longest-Serving Leader, President Obiang

Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu will embark on a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, on Wednesday, August 14, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

This visit is aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea, with a particular focus on agreements related to oil, gas, and security.

Upon arrival in Malabo, Tinubu will be received at the Presidential Villa, where he will engage in discussions with President Obiang.

Both leaders are expected to sign multiple agreements and explore opportunities to bolster cooperation between their countries.

Accompanying Tinubu on this visit are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other key members of his cabinet. These officials will participate in the signing of agreements and review potential avenues to further strengthen the relationship between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
