The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Bola Tinubu on Community Development for the South East Region, Chioma Nweze, has lamented the alarming surge in inflation rates in Nigeria.
During her visit to Abakalik in Ebonyi State, while speaking to journalists, she noted the considerable hardships faced by Nigerian populace due to the escalating inflation that has gripped the nation.
Nweze also shed light on the proactive stance of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in tackling these pressing issues.
She disclosed that the government is poised to mitigate the effects of inflation through an array of comprehensive agricultural programs designed to benefit the entire country.

“Coincidentally the level of suffering has increased because of the inflation rate in Nigeria. The communities are our own investment, and the President doesn’t want them to suffer.
“The Presidency has lots of agricultural programs to reach out to the people, so that we can increase the number of food that can be brought to the townships and to other levels, by doing so, it can be addressed.
Nweze emphasized her unwavering dedication to achieving comprehensive participation of the Southeast region in diverse federal government agricultural initiatives.
She also pointed out that this inclusive approach would contribute to mitigating the inflation rate within the region.
