Senator Ali Ndume, the Senate Chief Whip, has criticized the current Nigerian government, describing it as being run by kakistocrats and kleptocrats.
In a statement, Senator Ndume expressed his concern that the government is led by the least qualified and unscrupulous citizens, who may not fully grasp the realities faced by ordinary people.
Ndume said this in an interview with AriseTV where he spoke on the cost of living in the country.
According to him, ” I have this personal relationship with Mr. President for so long, and we were very anxious about what he said regarding the renewed hope.
“I speak straight, and this government is going down because it is run by kakistocracy and kleptocracy. It’s a government run by the least qualified and unscrupulous citizens. I don’t believe the president knows the real picture of what is happening on the streets.”

“Unfortunately, this is not what the president is up to,” he continued.
“He meant the renewed hope of a thing, but you can only achieve that when you have people of the same kind of thinking surrounding you. However, this is not what is happening.”
