Tinubu’s Lies, Propaganda Are Biggest De-Marketers of Nigeria-Godswill Nwankwo

Godswill Nwankwo, the 2023 Senate candidate for Abia South Senatorial District, has said that Tinubu’s falsehoods and propaganda are the biggest de-marketers of Nigeria.

Nwankwo said this after Bayo Onanuga, spokesperson for Chief Bola Tinubu, accused the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi of demarketing Nigeria, despite his own involvement in spreading misinformation.

Onanuga had taken to his social media handle to echo a post by Nwachukwu Chigozie, labeling Obi as a “bitter person” and a “chief mourner” for allegedly tarnishing Nigeria’s image during a visit to Canada.

However, Nwankwo said that Tinubu’s propaganda tarnishes Nigeria’s image on the global stage.

He singled out what he termed “never-ending lies and propaganda” as detrimental to the nation’s reputation and economic prospects.

Taking to his X account on Monday, he wrote, “Tinubu‘s never-ending lies and propaganda are the biggest de-marketers of Nigeria.”

Furthermore, Nwankwo suggested that the Tinubu administration has veered away from its governance responsibilities, instead focusing its energies on employing what he described as “malicious tactics” to sow disunity and provoke unrest among various segments of society across Nigeria.

“This administration has stopped governing as their attention is now concentrated on employing malicious tactics to sow disunity and instigate division and unrest among people and communities throughout Nigeria,” he said.
