Eedris Abdulkareem in the lyrics of his newly released single ‘Emilokan’ sang ‘Emilokan don turn Ebilokan’ meaning ‘Its my turn has now turned to hunger time ‘ which perfectly captures the extent of hunger Tinubu had thrown Nigerians to, in a bid to make it clear that it’s his time to rule.
Abdulkareem who was famous for his song ‘Jaga Jaga’, released in 2004 during Olusegun Obasanjo’s regime as president of Nigeria, a song he released to address the state of Nigeria during his regime.
However, Eedris’s latest song ‘Emi Lo Kan’ doesn’t spare Tinubu’s regime as he systematically portrayed the despicable act and traits of the Tinubu led administration.
The lyrics of the song partly reads,” Don’t blame them, igbos are been discriminated, even food don turn to gold in Nigeria.
“Kidnapping lucrative business in Nigeria, imagine say na their grandchildren wey dem kidnap by now soldiers for don scatter Nigeria.
“How common man wan get money for ransom when they kidnap his wife and children, after everything na kill dey go kill them.
“See as Naira dey fall against dollar… Emilokan don turn to Ebilokan.
“N7bn to renovate your residence, N15bn for your traveling allowance, that’s for you and your Vice President.
“N40bn for Aso Rock maintenance, N5bn for food and refreshments.
“Hundreds of billions for dogs and animals, while hunger dey kill Nigerians.
“Wetin Nigerians do to warrant this treatment. Even garri, dey no fit afford for the family.”
