Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu has stated that a working Nation is only possible if the people in power are competent.
She added that the individual will not only be competent but also have integrity to bring good governance to the people while in power.
Yesufu made this statement in a post she shared on her X handle on Monday.
She wrote,”Have we now agreed that we cannot crowdfund our way out of poverty?
“We need to have a working nation that gives its citizens the basics in life.
“We cannot have that without ensuring only competent people with character and integrity with the singular purpose of giving good governance get in there,” she stated.
