Tottenham Hotspur has condemned Racist Comments and Abuses on Destiny Udogie after the Defender received and suffered from racist comments following Saturday’s game against Liverpool.
The Club made this known via their Official X Handle on Monday. It stated, “We are disgusted at the racist messages directed towards Destiny Udogie on social media following Saturday’s game against Liverpool.”
“We will work with the Premier League and, where possible, take action against any individual we are able to identify. We stand with you Destiny.” the statement reads.
In a show of support and fight against Racism, Spanish side Valencia FC via their Official Twitter handle on X made their ground known in a statement. It reads, “ This is completely unacceptable. Racism has no place in sports or society. We are with you, Destiny Udogie.”
Tottenham is expected to work closely with appropriate channels to fetch out those behind the comments. The fight for Racism in football has been hot Cookies to swallow. Many black players fights and suffers from Racism as though the Authorities will continue to fight against Racism..Racism has no place in football.
