It was a tragic moment as 10 people lost their lives on Tuesday following a collision on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The accident, Parallel Facts gathered, occurred in the wee hours of Tuesday near Kara Turning, close to the Interchange.
Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the tragic incident in a statement to Channels TV.
The crash involved a collision between an ash-coloured Toyota Hiace Bus, bearing the registration FKY898YF, and an orange Iveco Truck Tipper.
The impact of the crash left seven individuals with injuries, who have since been rushed to Famobis Hospital to receive urgent medical care.

Meanwhile, the deceased have been transported to Idera Morgue in Sagamu, marking a somber day for the families affected.
Anthony Uga, the Sector Commander, expressed his deep sorrow over the incident, noting that such a tragedy could have been prevented with the proper precautions.
He further stressed the importance of rest for drivers, advocating for a 15-minute break after every four hours of driving to combat the fatigue that often leads to road accidents.
