Renowned journalist Oseni Rufai has slammed Bola Tinubu for cancelling his planned visit to Yelewata in Benue State, blaming poor road conditions and flooding.
Speaking during his brief stop in Benue on Wednesday, Tinubu said, “I aborted my visit to Yelewata because of the rain, flood, bad roads, and particularly, seeing the ruins and the carnage on camera, it served enough to take the decision.”
Reacting to his statement, Rufai in a post on his official X handle charged Tinubu to travel more often across the states in Nigeria to get acquainted to the sufferings and pains of nigerians.

He further reminded Tinubu that Nigeria flood victims are waiting for him to pay them a visit too.
His post reads,”President Tinubu experienced bad roads yesterday and that’s why we want him to travel more across the country and see how people are suffering.
“Dear President, Niger flood victims also need you.”
