Trump Halts Supply of Military Aid to Ukraine After Clash with Zelensky

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday, halted the delivery of all U.S military aid to Ukraine following a meeting that ended in a shouting match with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky in Washington.

According to the New York Times, senior administration and military officials confirmed the latest order by Mr Trump, which is expected to affect more than $1 billion in arms and ammunition orders meant for Ukraine that are still in the United States or already in transit to the war-ravaged country.

The decision to pause exports of aid to Ukraine was taken after a series of meetings at the White House between Mr Trump and his national security aides on Monday, amid the recent fallout between the American leader and Mr Zelensky over their different positions on ways to end the war in Ukraine.
