Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, has labeled former U.S. President Donald Trump a “consummate liar” and a “danger to the world.”
Speaking with TheNEWS as part of activities to mark his 90th birthday, Soyinka criticized Trump for his ability to manipulate the American public.
Soyinka stated, “But he did one thing. He studied and he understood the American psyche.
“And he knew the right chord to tweak in order to get them on his side, to get them to believe anything that he says.
“I don’t think the world has ever known such a consummate liar like Donald Trump,” he added.
Trump, who served one term as U.S. President, is currently campaigning for a second term.
Notably, during a recent campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump survived an assassination attempt in which the shooter was killed.
